This 18" tall antique china doll sports a rare molded hairstyle with a braided bun with a bow in the middle that drapes down onto the nape of her neck. She has an antique cloth body with china lower arms and legs. Her antique clothing consists of 2 petticoats - one plain and one with lace edging, a pink cotton 2 piece dress set, and white cotton apron with lace trim.
Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs to the china parts. There are some kiln specks, including a couple tiny dots on her nose. There is wear to color on boots. Body has patches and repairs, including reattachment of lower legs. Skirt has a brown stain with hole on the back.
This model china doll is rare. The maker is still unidentified. I removed the head to record the interior markings (see photos), which are only production marks - a red 5. by the painter and incised g h by the modeler.
