This dramatic vintage 1950s -1960s era Mexican sterling silver pendant brooch features a large carved stone face representing an Aztec god or priest. The stone is mottled dark green and blue in color. The figure has pierced ears with hoop earrings, and 3 charms hanging below the collar. The back is well marked with the eagle mark with 3 inside for Taxco, 925 sterling, Made in Mexico, and makers mark KCE. It have a pin back with roll over safety clasp and a large pendant bale fitted to the pin stem.
This pendant weighs a substantial 48.2 gr. It measures 1.625" x 3.5" and is .75" thick.
Condition is good.
