This is a very well made 12" tall vintage cloth Eskimo woman doll. She is dressed in an off white cotton tunic coat with sheep wool trimmed hood and straight lines of colored stitching around hem and cuffs. She has a small patterned blue gingham print skirt under neath, as well as a blue and red print blouse. her black mittens are wool felt. Her elaborate boots have leather moccasin shoe portions topped by off with cotton tops with decorative embroider up both sides as well as on top. She has embroidered facial features and form was given to the nose by inserting something hard under neath the fabric. Her long brown braided hair is wool yarn. Her body is firmly stuffed cloth. She has well formed breasts as well.
Condition is good, with only minor wear.
This is a well crafted hand made doll. Clearly someone with skills made her.
