This uncommon German china head doll features a molded necklace. She has her original antique body with china lower arms and legs. Her antique clothing consists of white cotton drawers and petticoat, topped by a lovely cotton print dress with mother of pearly ball buttons in back.
Condition: the shoulder head has no chips, cracks or repairs, however there are a couple of manufacturing defects. There is a bubble pop on her nose and a large raised bubble on the back of the shoulder plate. Her right hand has been rebuilt from the wrist on down. There is paint wear on shoes and a tiny spot of wear on back of head. Dress has a couple of small holes and some fading.
This flat top model with molded necklace has been ascribed to either Kestner or ABG, and I am now leaning towards the former.
Offers considered, except on Red Tag sale items and on items with final reductions.
