This is an antique Victorian Raj period sterling silver locket pendant depicting Indian gods on each side. One side depicts Vishnu riding the bird Garuda. I think the other side may be Shiva. There are no marks. Metal tests positive for silver content of sterling grade. The pendant has a large bail to accommodate a chain. The locket opens and closes well. The inside is empty, ready to hold your choice of mementos.
This locket weighs 10.2 gr. It measures 1" x 1.625" (including bail) and is over .5" thick.
Condition is good.
This is a beautiful antique locket to hold a tiny treasure inside.
