This is a mysterious 5 inch tall antique terra cotta bust of a girl. A mystery as it has 2 small holes through the lower from as though it was attached like a doll head would be to a body. The head is heavy and has an aged surface patina. The girl is very well modeled, with side glancing eyes, and molded collar, long ringlets on the sides and smooth hair in back that turns under at the bottom. The back bottom edge may have been broken off.
Condition: At first I thought this may have once been the head of a statue figure, but the 2 holes dispute that idea, so she is a lovely mystery and attractive display piece.
