This is a gorgeous large 1950s-1960s vintage 18K yellow gold calla lily flower brooch set with 22 white diamonds and 12 dark blue sapphires.This dramatic brooch is in the form of a pair of calla lily type flower blossoms with long extended spadix lined with diamonds, alongside a spray of fronds studded with sapphires. The back of the brooch is marked GEO. 18K., GEO. is the abbreviation for Gold Equivalent Ounce. Metal has been tested and confirmed to be 18K gold. Diamonds and sapphires have also been tested and confirmed, but not judged for quality or size. This brooch came in a dark blue Tiffany box, but the brooch is not marked for Tiffany.
The brooch weighs 22.1 gr. with an approximate current market melt value of about $1200.00. The brooch measures an impressive 3.25" long by .875".
