This is a fine 15" tall circa 1900 Bisque so-called parian doll with molded blue hat, decorated shoulder plate, turned head, and slightly open closed mouth. The doll is on its original kid leather body with bisque lower arms and cloth lower legs. She is dressed in pantaloons, petticoat, socks, and an antique drop waist cotton print dress.
Condition: The bisque head is in good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a very small finger tip chip to the inside curve of the fingers on the doll's left hand. The body has several patches and repairs. Socks and pantaloons appear newer. No shoes.
This attractive short haired blond child with blue hat could be dressed as either boy or girl.
