This is a vintage 1940s-1950s era counter top manikin doll figure dressed in an original bridal dress, including veil and long gloves. Clothing is sewn on but I unstitched it for photos and then restitched it in place again. She stands an impressive 24" tall. There are wooden posts that insert up inside her legs and would have mounted into some sort of base that is no longer present. Her gown is of mid 20th century design, but her hairstyle speaks more of the 1940s, and that probably defines her era of use. Arms are removable for ease in dressing.
Condition: there is significant crazing of the face and a repair to her right wrist. Despite the crazing, her makeup is still colorful. Her original veil - seen in first image was disintegrating, so I replaced the netting with similar vintage netting which is seen in the 3rd from last photo, where I have also ironed her gown.
She is an iconic piece from the mid 20th century era.
