This is a beautiful antique Chinese cloisonne brooch depicting a blooming cherry tree against a blue foil enamel background and green and black border. There is even a butterfly. The reverse side is counter enameled in green. There is a sturdy pin stem with C clasp. The brooch is slightly arched outward. The sides are lobed. The base metal material appears to be copper, with silver metal pin back. There are no markings. I believe that this brooch was converted from a buckle long ago.
This brooch measures 1.875" x 2.125".
Condition is good. Note that this is an old conversion from a buckle.
The enamel work on this piece is gorgeous.
