This is an excellent example of a German Hertwig fancy bonnet head doll in a larger than usual size at 16.5 inches tall. This doll also has her original commercial body, and it is amusing to note that they used different cloth body parts when assembling her. The shoulder head has shoulder length blond hair capped by a very large fancy green bonnet. She also has a molded cross necklace on her chest. Lower limbs are bisque, with boots painted brown with blue garters. Her antique clothing consists of cotton chemise with lace trim and blue and white striped cotton dress. Her dress is not her original one, but is one I found for her that would show off her necklace, however it doesn't quite close in back.
Condition: No damage to any bisque parts, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some damage to the upper cloth body, especially on the upper arms, that may require reinforcement soon.
