This is a very unusual circa 1920s Bye-lo Baby pot metal sign plaque. The sign is slightly convex, oval, with a hole at each end for a screw to attach it. There is a figure of a hooded man with staff in the middle. The sign is painted sort of a cream color with a wash of blue green on top, though faded and chipped. It measures 3.25" x 5.75".
Condition: This is a rather crude piece of metal, made from cheap heavy pot metal. The metal has cracks from the time it was made. The surface paint is worn and chipped.
Still....this is such a curious and interesting piece for anyone interested in Bye-lo dolls.
