This is a very sweet 11 inch tall, circa 1900 cloth doll with hand ink drawn face and original tan striped play suit. This little doll is simply constructed, with plain blunt ends for hands and feet. The one piece cotton play suit and knit hat are believed to be original. A strip of fur hide around the head forms the hair. The face has a finer layer of cloth so better detail was possible when the face was drawn. The maker had the skills to draw a very pleasing face.
Condition: a small tear on playsuit and 1 small stain. Average wear for a cloth doll of this type.
I love the small size of this doll, yet very nicely made too.
