This is an unusual vintage early 1900s silver tone metal chatelaine brooch in the form of a pair of leaves with a bow on top, and 5 figural charms hanging below. The charms are all different, as follows: a man holding 2 geese, an eagle with outstretched wings on a pillar with a cross, a woman playing the harp, an eagle standing next to a key, and a rearing horse with a medieval man holding a sword. There are no markings. The metal appears to be a silver tone base metal. The back has a standard roll over safety clasp and pin stem.
This brooch measures 2" wide by 3" long.
Condition is good.
This is an intriguing old brooch. I wonder what the meaning of the charms is.
