This is an unusual 18" tall antique cloth Middle Eastern Turkoman man doll in original ethnic costume. He has round face with ink drawn face including curled mustache. He wears a fez type hat. His outfit consists of thin cotton trousers and tunic, topped by a button vest that once was covered in a red brocade silk, long striped flannel robe, a red tote bag, and red sewn on shoes. The stuffed cloth body and limbs are very simply constructed.
Condition: fading to colors of garments. Silk covering of vest is mostly gone.
If you collect early international dolls or special antique cloth dolls, this fellow is an excellent candidate.
