This fine fellow is a circa 1870s -1880s German bisque shoulder head doll made by Alt Beck & Gottschalck. He is 16" tall on his factory original kid leather body with bisque lower arms. He has short blond hair with a side part. His antique clothing consists of short black pants, white cotton shirt, tan wool jacket with black velvet trim and red lining, and black stockings. His shoes are later replacements.
Condition is good but for some slight cheek rubs. No chips, cracks or repairs to the any bisque parts. Though the lower shoulder plate is covered by the leather of of the body, I have fully inspected the shoulder plate to ensure that is is completely undamaged.
This sweet boy stands ready to join the ranks of your antique doll collection.
