This unusual miniature 3.5" tall doll was made to be a phonograph or talking machine toy. It has a bisque head, shapely cork body torso, wire hinged bisque arms and dangling wooden legs. Her only remaining costume is a tied on skirt of thin wooden sticks. When mounted on the phonograph these little dancing dolls would jig along as the music played.
Condition is good, though I assume the doll may have originally been clothed.
