Vintage Juliana Ram's Head Belt Necklace Rhinestone Silver tone Omega Chain Book Piece on Pg. 132 in "Memoirs of a Fashion Jeweler", Frank DeLizza and Pg. 247 in "Juliana The Last Generation", Knutson & Wacker. Hard to find book piece, and a double book piece at that. The large cast ram's head has navette eyes and a central chaton at the base of the horns. The attachment clasp is a ram's tail. Unique dotted stretch omega 1/2 inch chain is 28 inches long to wear as a necklace and will stretch to 35 inches when worn as a belt. DeLizza & Elster is the only company we've seen that used this specialty omega chain. These figural head & tail pieces were made in silver tone and gold tone. Other figural heads in this line were a fanged snake and a fish head.
The dimensional head measures 2 1/4 Inches Long x 1 1/4 Inches Wide and stands 3/4 Inches Tall.
Condition: Lovely Vintage - No flaws, wear or discoloration to metal. Tight clasp.
