Extraordinary Vintage NAPIER Huge Rococo Cuff Bracelet Earring Set is red carpet runway glamour at its best! Over the long history of Napier jewelry, every once and again they produced a designer quality line of such drama, such elegance, and such excess that it becomes a holy grail designer piece. The magnificent 2 1/2" Wide bracelet is constructed of ornately embossed overlapping plates, affixed to the sturdy cuff frame. The plates are finished in a rich matt gold tone, with shiny gloss on the high areas. The center 1" topaz rhinestone is nestled in a wired circle of matt faux pearls. Two 10 mm dangle pearls provide movement. On the sides of the cuff, a long row of the wired pearls transitions the plate levels. The clip Earrings perfectly mimic the bracelet. The design styles that emerged during the 18th century French Art Rococo period are perfectly captured in this magnificent set. Rococo is a combination of the French rocaille, or shell, and the Italian barocco, or Baroque style. Rococo is easily recognized for its use of shell-like curves. Each piece is signed Napier.
