This miniature bisque set portrays a busy little gardener about to plant the tiny pot of paper flowers in one of two fancy planters. A diminutive water can stands nearby. The little bisque immobile gardener is just 2 inches high and is cold painted in bright colors (at least in the front). There is even a tiny shiny silver pair of molded pruning shears at his waist. The two planters are roughly 1.25 inches high and just under 2 inches long, and the watering can is only an inch high, including the curved handle. All pieces are of excellent sharp bisque and, although unmarked, are of German quality. To find this fragile set intact after all these decades is amazing, especially in such excellent condition, with no breaks or repairs with only the most minimal wear on the coloring. Even the diminutive paper flower bouquet in in wonderful condition, with only some fading and a few creased petals. This marvelous miniature set would be a wonderful additional to a dollhouse conservatory or gift to your favorite gardener.
