This striking lady with her molded Dark blonde hair in a chignon would have been the lady of an Edwardian or early 1920s doll house. This 6.25 inch tall dollhouse woman wears what appears to be an early homemade evening gown or dress, with a blouse of green velvet and matching long skirt of a a beautiful green material iridescent with underlying gold threads, set off by a flowing scarf of black lace. Underneath is a white slip. This handsome woman has a bisque head and limbs and a cloth body. Her head is of good bisque, she has a pretty face and classic profile, and her molded hair is deeply comb marked. There are no visible marks, but she is of good German quality. Her clothing is in wonderful condition for her age, and there are no breaks or repairs. She must have been in a rush to get ready for the evening, as she got a little dab of her lip coloring just above her upper lip! Her hair coloring is also a bit uneven. These minute factory flaws are noticeable only upon the closest inspection and while they does not from this dollhouse dame's charms, they do attest to her age and authenticity.
