This fantastic flapper sunning herself on a rocky shore in her brief bathing suit is a powder or trinket box by the German firm of Fasold and Stauch. Although incised only "181" on her shapely lower back, this seaside siren has the sultry elongated amber eyes surrounded by gray shading typical of this company. Her lithe body, long slender arms and legs, and graceful hands are beautifully modeled. She is also beautifully decorated, from her sensual face to the green and brown shady on her stony seat. The raised right hand is pierced to hold some object and this beautiful beachgoer has been provided with pretty parasol made of vintage fabric and lace. This lovely lady on the rocks is of excellent china and is 4 inches long and 5 inches. She is in excellent condition, with no breaks or repairs.
