This voluptuous bisque bathing beauty is by the German firm of Galluba and Hofmann, considered by collectors to be one of the finest maker of bathing belles and its lovely ladies are scarce and highly sought after. She is of excellent bisque and this nubile nude is beautifully modeled from her slender arms with their delicate hands and shapely slim legs to her supple curves. Her lovely oval face is decorated in typical Galluba style, with one stroke brows, sultry intaglio blue eyes outlined in black, large black pupils with white highlights, red lid lines, and smiling full parted coral lips. On her dainty feet are molded blue ballet style bathing slippers. This curvaceous cutie wears a replacement mohair wig. She has lost her original silk net and ribbon bathing costume to time, but with a body like hers, who needs a bathing suit? Naughty, but so nice, she is incised on her stomach "407K." Galluba used a 400 series of geschmachsmuster numbers (geschmachsmuster or G.M. means that the model number was registered with the German government). Her long slim arms and legs are free from her body. She is 4.25 inches long and 1.25 inches high. There are no breaks or repairs.
