This blonde-haired, brown-eyed child need a little TLC, but she still smiles sweetly after a century. Her curly tresses are deeply molded and fame her pretty face. Her deep brown set glass eyes contrast nicely with her pale complexion and softly-blushed cheeks. She has a kid body with well-modeled bisque hands with dimples at the knuckles and blushing on the backs. This was a well-loved little doll and she wears a charming floral handmade dress, trimmed with ribbon and lace, perhaps sewn by her doting little mother. Somewhere over the decades she lost her lower legs, probably of cloth, and her arms have been reattached at the shoulder. The head is unmarked, but was certainly made in Germany. She is 9.5 inches tall. The bisque head is in good condition, with no breaks or repairs. There are a few small factory flaws: a little dent on her forehead; a faint yellow smudge on her forehead which appears to be coloring from her blonde curls; some faint small kiln lines in the folds on the right side of her neck; and her left eye socket was cut a little unevenly. The right hand is missing the tip of the thumb and the left is chipped below the little finger. The kid body has wear, but is overall sturdy. The darling little dress is also sturdy with some fading and faint spotting; one of the ribbons encircling the waist needs to be reattached in the front. Many years ago this dear little doll won some little girls heart, and with just a little care and restoration, she may win yours.
