These two vintage velvet ring presentation boxes open with a push of the button. The deep blue box has a mother of pearl button, while the one in rich purple has a metal button. The blue box has a white satin interior which states, in graceful cursive, adorned with a drawing of a singing bird, "W.D. Sproesser Co. Jewelry and Music Store Watertown, Wis." This box is 1.5 inches high, 2 inches deep, and just a little over 1.5 inches wide. The purple box, with golden yellow satin, is marked inside "Silberberg Bros Mesa Ave. at Texas St. El Paso, Texas," framed by a laurel wreath. This box is one inch high, just under two inches wide, and 1.75 inches deep. Both boxes are in wonderful condition for their age. The latches close tightly and the inside satin is clean and bright. The velvet is in good condition, with only some minor wear on the corners. The blue box also has some faint discoloration on the bottom, as if it sat on a strip of tape at some point.
