This sweet little all-bisque señorita wears her original outfit, including her black net mantilla, held in place by a large blushing ribbon rose. Of good precolored bisque, she has a pale pink complexion and was made by Hertwig and Company of Germany. Her plump face is well-painted with brown one stroke brows, blue painted eyes with black pupils, rosy cheeks, and full coral lips. In contrast to her round face, she has slim bent arms and slender flapper legs. She has reddish-brown one strap heeled shoes; it looks like at one point someone painted them black, and there are remains of black paint on the soles. This diminutive doll is wire jointed at the hips and shoulders. Although her marks are hidden beneath her clothing, the “y” in Germany is just visible on her upper back. This miniature muchacha is approximately 3.5 inches tall, making her just the right size for a doll house, room setting, or as the dolly for a lucky larger doll. Overall, she is in wonderful condition for her age and there are no breaks or repairs. Her cute costume is intact and sturdy. There is a small tear in the thin ribbon trimming the hemline of her skirt on the right front edge and the black skirt is a bit dusty.
