This beautiful and unusual filigree bracelet carries Egyptian hallmarks. One panel has the full hallmark, the symbol for 800 silver (looks like an inverted "V" and a dot), the mark for the Cairo assay office (looks like a cat), and the date letter of a capitol "N," used 1937 to 1938. The bracelet is composed of five panels, each approximately 1 5/16 inches tall, of delicate elaborate filigree framing a round stone of deep amber color with reddish-brown swirls (I do not know what the stones are, other than I do not think they are stone; they feel light and warm to the touch). The filigree is all handmade and given a gold wash that has aged to a warm soft patina. The bracelet closes tightly with a pin clasp and is in excellent condition, with no damage to the filigree and only minor wear to the gold wash. The panel next to the clasp is stamped with the full hallmark, while others carry the symbol of 800 silver (sometimes called coin silver) and the "N" date stamp. This bracelet fits a smaller wrist, as it is just 7 inches long. It looks fantastic on and would complement any outfit, from casual blue jeans to a knight on the town
