A vintage grand style colonial dollhouse with birch trees and a sign "The Birchs". Manufactured by Keystone of Boston in the 1940's - 50's. The painted wood and printed fiberboard house has movable metal shutters on the windows and a wooden front door that opens to a foyer with a spiral staircase. The 6 room house has original manufacture stencil walls and simulated wood plank flooring. The living room has a brick fireplace with a mantle; upstairs, a French door style closet. The vintage dollhouse has age related wear and is clean odor free and in good condition. The dollhouse is 31 1/2" long x 22 1/2" high x 16 3/4" deep and has a turn table on the underside for easy display or play. "So was I once myself a swinger of birches." Robert Frost.
