It is marked on the underside of the hinged lid with the sterling standard lion passant and the Birmingham date letter for 1904. It is fully marked on the bottom with the makers mark, the Birmingham anchor mark, sterling standard lion passant and date letter. The pot of bulbous round form has a reed edge and is three footed with a stylized shell design. The pot stands on three feet and measures 2 inches high. The cobalt glass bowl is free of chips or cracks and removable for easy care. The silver finish is soft and beautiful with minor surface wear commensurate with age.
