Cherubs vanity mirror or picture frame cast iron metal cold painted gold gilt frame, circa Art Nouveau. The frame is ornate decorated with winged sleeping cherubs or angels perched on flowers with two more standing on the tips of their toes with arms out stretched holding a flower on either side of the frame. There is a decorative shell centered at the base among more flowers and flourish. The tabletop frame stands on two legs and on an arm on the back that swings out to hold the mirror upright. The mirror is held in place with four pins that swing from side to side so the mirror may easily be released from its frame and used for a photo or print. The mirror is good and ready to be enjoyed. It may be re-silvered if desired. The frame has just the right amount of age-related patina. It bears the foundry number 509 and the letter A impressed on the back. It measures 11 inches wide by 9 inches high.
