The center medallion has a cupid surrounded by meticulous pierced work. This lovely basket is marked Sterling with design number 2273, and the maker name, Theodore B. Starr, New York. It stands two inches high on ball feet and 9 7/8 by 8 inches. It weighs 14.8 troy ounces. The basket is free of damage and has no repairs or monogram.
