Birmingham English sterling silver napkin ring has a lovely, finely detailed beaded border with an elegant plain design. It is monogrammed in a beautiful script with the name Dick. It is fully hallmarked with the English .925 sterling silver Lion Passant Mark; assay town of Birmingham denoted by the Anchor mark; date mark “e” for 1904; and the maker mark W.A. for William Aitken. It measures 1.25 inches high by 1.75 inches across and weighs 17 grams. Overall it is very good; a bend at the top back side does not detract from its beauty and is not unusual for napkin rings over 100 years old. This lovely English sterling silver napkin ring will make a wonderful addition to a silver service. It is perfect for an elegant table setting and a fabulous gift idea for a collector.
