Dates to the turn of the last century, circa 1900.
Crafted in solid 18K light rose gold. This piece used to have a brighter yellow gold bloomed finish, but most of it has worn away (save for the crevices). As this piece is not hallmarked, it has been carefully acid tested.
This petite cross has exquisite style, especially when the light catches it's gold facets. It came to me in need of repair, as it's top loop had worn almost entirely away from the many years that it was lovingly worn. I have rebuilt the top ring, and added a matching 18K bail loop so that it can be worn for another 100 years.
The cross measures 1.05" from bail to base, and 0.53" from side to side. This piece weighs 1.9 grams.
Condition is good, with the above repair noted. Cleaned and ready to wear.
*** Please note, necklace chain in photographs is used for demonstration purposes only and is not included with pendant. ***
