Dates to the early Art Deco erca, circa 1920.
Crafted in solid 14K white gold, and bearing a number of hallmarks, none of which have helped me identify the maker(s) unfortunately.
Gorgeous basket setting, with deeply etched ornate scroll-work on the shoulders of the the band, and double claw-set with a large and stunning pink Kunzite stone. The stone measures approximately 21 mm by 12 mm, and has the estimated weight of approximately 9 carats. The colour of the stone is truly incredible - it's the softest pink imaginable. (If you are a fan of Morganite, I'd like to introduce you to her pretty little sister Kunzite. :-))
The front of the ring measures 0.87" from top to bottom, with a band that measures 0.09" at the very back. This piece weighs 4.3 grams and is currently a size 6.75.
Condition is very good, with no damages noted. Some minor wear to the facets of the stone noted with a 10X loupe. Band appears to have been sized at some point in time.
