Dates to the Edwardian era, circa 1910.
Crafted in solid 10K yellow gold. Not hallmarked, but carefully acid tested.
Forget-me-not floral motif, with a line of four delicately enamelled flowers running in a row down to the genuine river pearl dropper. The top flower is slightly offset from the others, and looks slightly to the side. Perhaps a coy way of a lady saying 'I am not just another pretty face. I stand out from the rest.' - at least that's my interpretation.
The lavaliere measures 1.63" from the bail to the base, with a maximum width of 0.34". The piece weighs 1.4 grams.
Condition is very good, with no damages or repairs.
*** Please note, necklace chain is used for demonstration purposes only and is not included with lavaliere. ***
