Dates to the Art Deco era, circa 1920.
Crafted in solid 14K yellow gold and hallmarked as such. Also bears a maker’s mark of a key, but I am unable to identify the maker unfortunately.
Simple but lovely, this pin features a deep blue inverted pear-cut sapphire (very likely lab-created), which measures approximately 7.8 mm by 4.2 mm and is estimated to weigh 0.62 carats. Finished at the base with a tiny post-set seed pearl.
The stickpin measures 2.33” from end to end, with a top portion that measures 0.44” by 0.19”. This piece weighs 1.2 grams.
Condition is very good, with no damages or repairs.
