Date to the Retro era, circa 1945.
Crafted in solid 14K yellow gold and carefully acid tested on both the cameo frame and earring portions. Hallmarked ''T&HM" on the backs of the earrings.
Trabert & Hoeffer-Mauboussin were very famous for their Reflection series of jewelry in the late 1930's. As the country went to war, T&HM remained viable where other companies failed by encouraging customer's to reuse and redesign their unworn pieces into something new. These earrings appear to be just such creation.
The cameos appear to be Victorian era pieces, each featuring a hand carved shell cameo of Moses, with his staff in hand. The cameos are set into ornate Cannetille decorated frames.
The earrings measure 1.09" from top to bottom, with a maximum width of 0.93". The backs are clip-ons, and are very secure yet comfortable to wear. The pair weigh 9.6 grams together.
Condition is very good with no damages.
