Dates to the late Art Deco era, circa 1930.
Crafted in solid 10K yellow gold, and hallmarked as such. Also bears a maker's mark of a star within a circle, but I have been unable to identify this mark unfortunately.
Wonderful embossed design, with a five-petaled flower both above and below the stone, as well as on the shoulders. Definitely a romantic Edwardian influence to the piece. Bezel-set with a large genuine light blue zircon. The stone measures approximately 7 mm, and has an estimated weight of 2.35 carats.
The front of the ring measures 0.38" from to bottom, with a band that narrows down to 0.06" at the very back. The ring is a size 8.25 and weighs 1.8 grams.
Condition is good, however the stone does exhibit wear visible with magnification, and the band has been sized up at some point in time.
