Dates to the late Art Nouveau, mid-Edwardian era, circa 1905.
Crafted in solid 14K yellow gold, and hallmarked as such.
Gorgeous deep purple stone (which appears to be foil backed) is a natural amethyst cabochon, which measures approximately 10 mm by 7 mm. Bezel-set in a gorgeously designed ‘gathered ribbon’ frame.
Stickpin measures 2.55” from end to end, with a top portion that measures 0.70” by 0.57”. This piece weighs a hefty 2.7 grams.
Condition is very good, with no damages or repairs.
