Crafted in solid 14K yellow gold. Partially hallmarked as such, but difficult to read, so I have also carefully acid tested the piece.
From the collection of a turn of the century noted collector of gems and minerals (and lawyer) from North Carolina. Likely a custom made piece, as most of this gentleman’s pieces were unique and required custom settings.
Featuring a highly polished piece of natural green and pink Unakite. The cabochon measures approximately 14 mm by 10.5, and is housed in a beautifully crafted frame.
The stickpin measures 2.39” from end to end, with a top portion that measures 0.61” by 0.46”. This piece weighs 2.42 grams.
Condition is very good, with no damages or repairs.
