Dates to the late Georgian era, early Victorian era, circa 1830.
Crafted with a solid 18K yellow gold pin stem (hallmarked with French hallmarks, including a maker's mark that I can not identify) and sterling silver base.
Featuring a beautifully hand carved agate (likely natural onyx) of a beautiful female blackamoor - perhaps a Nubian princess. She wears a table cut diamond necklace (with 23 diamonds), diamond earrings and has diamond eyes. A total of 27 diamonds adorn this piece.
The stick pin measures 4.10” from top to bottom, with a top portion that measures 0.99” by 0.60”. This piece weighs 7 grams.
Condition is excellent, with no damages or repairs. This is an exceedingly rare piece, especially when considering it's condition. You will not see another like her!
