*** FINAL REDUCTION ***
Likely dates to the 1960's or 70's.
Crafted in sterling silver, and hallmarked as such. Also marked TAXCO 925 MEXICO and (what I believe are) the initials 'AMP'. Matching sterling silver earrings have alpaca fittings and are marked as such on the fittings, with the same silver marking upon one of the earrings.
Super design, featuring 13 feather or leaf inspired links, each inlaid with gorgeous and colourful genuine abalone shell.
Each link averages 1.20" by 0.52", and is joined via 'o' ring link on the back side to the next link. The necklace closes with a push-in tongue clasp, which is part of one of the links. This piece is choker style, and measures approximately 16" when on. This piece weighs 33. 6 grams.
The matching earrings are of course of the same design and having approximately the same measurement of the individual links. They have the original screw-backings. Both earrings together weigh 6.7 grams.
Condition is very good, with no damages. As the clasp was less than reliable (although tightly fit, it's simply not as secure as I would prefer), I have added a safety chain and clasp. This could be removed if you prefer. Cleaned, but not polished, and ready to wear.
