This is a consignment piece offered from its original owner. She thinks she bought this in the 70's and that jives with the information I've found online. This was a limited edition designed for Trifari by Heather N. Williams. I hate using the word rare but this necklace is somewhat rare. It consists of nine three dimensional links, five of them oval and the other four rectangular. The oval links contain black cabochons of some sort of plastic with three of them having a crown figure impressed into their center. The rectangular links have faceted black plastic "stones". All links have a heavy gold tone backing and beading around the edges. The oval links all also have a raised crown on the back. This necklace could almost be worn on either side. It measures up to 18 inches in length and is 1 inch wide. There is a crack in the center oval that is only noticeable upon very close inspection. The original J hook has been replaced with one that is not signed however the necklace itself is signed Trifari and Heather N. Williams.
