This is a gorgeous Royal Doulton globular shaped jardinière. The body has a green and blue mottled ground with smooth shoulder band. It is decorated in the arts and crafts style with alternating blue flower heads and loose knots of entwined ribbon tipped with applied beadwork. The jardinière measures 7 ½" in height, 7 ½" diameter across top and 4 ½" diameter across bottom. It is in very good condition with only a few minor cracks in paint of ribbon knots and has clear factory marks to the base. Circa date for this piece is 1912-1920.
