For sale is a pretty Heubach Brothers porcelain art nouveau vase, made in Germany. The scene depicts a partially nude woman in a flowing gown holding a feather in one hand and a flowing veil with the other, on a pink background. The rest of the double handled vase has a overall pearl-like iridescence trimmed with gold. This beautiful vase is in perfect condition, measuring 6 3/4" high, porcelain company mark on bottom.
FYI: "Pâte-sur-pâte is a French term meaning "paste on paste". It is a method of porcelain decoration in which a relief design is created on an unfired-unglazed body by applying successive layers of white slip (liquid clay) with a brush.
