We have for sale a very nice late 19th-early 20th century figurine titled ‘Tam O Shanter’. A man seated holding a cup in his hand. It measures approximately 8 1/2" tall with the base measuring 4 3/4" long x 4" wide. It is in good condition with the exception of the repair to front of hat rim. Price is reflective of repair.
FYI: Staffordshire refers to items by potteries that sprang up in England's Staffordshire district in the early 18th Century. From 1840 to 1900, portrait figurines were created of real and fictional people. As a rule, Staffordshire is never marked. Circa 1890-1920.
