A pair of colorful Cockatoo Parrots adorn each side of this antique majolica pitcher from England, which is interspersed with equally colorful leaves and cobalt flowers. The inside is glazed in a creamy, dreamy color that's a cross between lavender and pink, while the outside boasts a base of brown with texture. It measures 7.75 inches tall, is 6.5 inches wide from handle to spout and about 5.5 inches in diameter at the base. You'll find it to be in excellent condition although age crazing is present and stamped with a registry mark ion the bottom. Unfortunately the glaze has covered the markings so I can't date it exactly although these types of marks were discontinued in 1883. A beautiful piece of the past that is sure to color your present. We're certain you'll be pleased.
