A colorful and just about life-sized version of a Fischer's Lovebird, done in semi-matte porcelain and hand painted in realistic detail. This gaily hued fellow was created by Goebel of Germany between 1979 and 1990 and has survived the passing years in exceptional condition, with no chips, cracks, repairs or paint loss. He stands 5.5 inches to the top of his red and yellow head and is just over 2.75 inches wide at his base. Birdie is marked "Goebel, W. Germany" via a sticker on the bottom along with some numbers. A truly splendid specimen with all the charm and pugnaciousness of his breathing cousins.
