A fabulous and functional covered vegetable dish or bowl from Bavaria, Germany featuring a colorful Bird of Paradise among flowers on both its lid and and sides. Made of porcelain, the bowl is additionally decorated with gold along the edges and handles. Its excellent condition belies its age, it was made by the Eduard Haberlander Porcelain Factory between 1913 and 1928 and has survived the years with nary a chip or crack, just expected wear to the gold on the handles. It measures 10.25 inches in length from handle to handle, 8 3/8 inches in diameter and is 4.75 inches in height to the top of the lid's handle.
