Rare and resplendent with a taste of the tropics, too, this vintage Lovebird vase from Fitz and Floyd is as colorful as it is cute. Done in the shape of lettuce leaves from which three petite Parrots peek; two are a-head of the hiding game while the third is posed with wings aloft and is just about life-sized. The vase is made of ceramic or pottery, is hand painted, and finished in a shiny glaze. It measures 10.25 inches tall, is 6.26 inches in diameter at the top and about 7 inches wide in the middle inclusive of the Lovebird. It is in good condition save for a small, well masked chip on the end of the Lovebird’s wing that you’d REALLY have to look for to find (I looked and missed it twice!) and small discolorations on the inside bottom. It is marked FF, 1986 on the bottom and is great not only for posies and dried arrangements but convenient in the kitchen holding utensils, or beautiful in the bath holding a guest towel or two. Perfect for Florida, Bird and Tiki rooms as well. You’ll LOVE it!
